Sterling Renaissance Festival

Welcome to our 34th season! Last year, Empire Attractions expanded the Sterling Renaissance Festival and catapulted the festival-goer’s experience to new heights. Thanks in large to customer feedback, new event weekends, new stage acts and new street performances, featuring never-before-seen characters, will be presented in open spaces and pathways throughout the Festival grounds. The Festival grounds and facilities have also been improved, including covered stage seating, more permanent benches and additional flowers and shrubbery...

The Sterling Renaissance Festival kicks off its 2010 season July 3rd and runs every Saturday and Sunday through August 15th. The magic of the English Renaissance comes alive with a reenactment of life as it occurred in the year 1585 in the English village of Warwick during a visit from Queen Elizabeth I.


Thrill to the excitement of over 100 stage and street performances! Our authentic English Renaissance Village is brought to life with more than 200 professional actors and stagehands. Revel in the raucous doings at every corner you turn. Join the merriment at the pub sing, wench auction, and trial & dunke.

Witness dozens of artisans demonstrating their fine craftsmanship and selling their unique wares. Enjoy digging into our savory delicacies — from steak-on-a-stake, pita pockets, succulent turkey legs, portabella mushroom sandwiches, mile-high cakes and more!

In the Lanes...All the Faire's a Stage! Look for them everywhere; royalty, rogues, merchants and wenches fill the lanes with hilarious interactions with you our "fellow citizens of Warwick". A meeting with a member of the infamous Bless the Mark Players may be the highlight of your day: solve a dispute, help a washer wench with her laundry, consort with rogues, revel with royalty, get married, arrested, or have your mettle tested.

July 3 & 4 - 
Buy one Get one: Opening weekend special! Buy 1 ticket at regular price and get 1 ticket at half price to help us kick off the season with great savings!

July 10 & 11 - 
Children’s Celebration: Children twelve and under will have free admission this weekend and children’s activities and shows will be highlighted!

July 17 & 18 - Romance Rendezvous: Summer isn't right without a little romance. Return to romance and adventure in Renaissance England on this special rendezvous for lovers.

July 18 & 19
 - A Midsummer Fantasy: Come celebrate Midsummer with us as the town of Warwick pays tribute to the myths and legends of Old England.

July 24 & 25 - Pirate Invasion: Yaar!! Those pirates are back again!! Pirates are invading the Shire with swashbuckling adventure, comedy and song.

July 31 & August 1
 - Highland Fling: Thrill to the lilt of Highland bagpipes in the hills. Wear your kilt and celebrate the mighty Scots with us. Hear Scottish pipe bands; see Highland dancing; watch Highland games and demonstrations.

August 7 & 8 
- Fantasy Weekend: Come celebrate Midsummer with us as the town of Warwick pays tribute to the myths and legends of Old England.

August 14 & 15 -Wine Lovers' Weekend: Come crush a grape with us on our second Wine Lovers' Bacchanal. Come toast to another wondrous season at the Sterling Renaissance Festival!
